2025 Event Schedule

This is your personal invitation to experience vintage motorcars on an authentic, historical boulevard, in the Victorian Village, a preservationist’s dream. This is a true Concours, not just a show and shine, and we have planned an enchanting weekend just for you!

Register here (registration closes May 1, 2025). Proceeds will benefit the Ferndale Senior Resource Agency and the North Coast Rape Crisis Team.

Thursday, May 29

Our Tour d’Elegance begins in mid-morning in San Geronimo, west Marin. Heading west on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, we’ll turn north on CA SR1, stopping along the way several times, including for lunch in Point Arena. We’ll then motor along Highway 1 to its culmination at US101, then continue north to Benbow, where we’ll bed down for the night.

Friday, May 30

We’ll depart Benbow late morning to head north on 101 to Avenue of the Giants, a 31-mile stretch that dips in and out of old growth redwood stands, stopping along the way to drive thru a hollowed-out redwood tree! Our drive continues up Blue Slide on Wildcat Mountain with a dramatic view of the Scotia Bluff, road conditions permitting. The day concludes with dinner at the Concours’ host hotel’s VI Restaurant.

Saturday, May 31

Our Rendezvous d’Elegance departs Ferndale’s Firemen’s Park in mid-morning, taking, as much as possible, back-country roads, including to Table Bluff Overlook, perched high above the Pacific Ocean, to Arcata for a guided tour of the Holly Yashi jewelry manufactory. We next head south to Eureka for lunch at Jack’s Restaurant on Humboldt Bay harbor. From Jack’s, it’s a short walk to Carl’s Car World, an automobile boutique, the accumulation of long-time car dealer and racer, Carl Schneider, and available for sale to you! Further south in Eureka, we’ll have a guided tour of the Lost Coast Brewery. The day will conclude with a wine/beer/heavy-hors d’oeuvres reception at the Harper Family private auto collection, featuring 60+ autos, many from the brass era. If you still have energy remaining, take in the musical play, “9-5,” playing at the Ferndale Repertory Theatre right on Main Street, showing at 7:30.

Sunday, June 1

Concours Day! “Gates” open at 7am for entrants and 10am for spectators. Best-of-Show is awarded at ~ 4pm. A wrap-up dinner will be held at the newly reopened Ivanhoe Hotel Restaurant.

Monday, June 2

“Hate to see you go” breakfast at the VI Restaurant.

Note: Any of the above is subject to change at any time.
